Accessibility statement
This English text is for convenience only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In brief
- We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA on our public website.
- The contact form and phone remain the fastest way to plan a session.
- The physical studio has steps; directions are on contact.
- We aim to handle digital barrier reports within 2 business days.
1. Purpose of this statement
Monogamyvault B.V. (Monogamyvault) wants everyone to use our website and information about our recording studio in Amsterdam. This statement describes the current status, our measures and how to give feedback. It aligns with Dutch digital-government accessibility expectations, the European Accessibility Act where it applies to our services, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
The Dutch version is authoritative; this English text is provided for information.
2. Scope
This statement covers the public website monogamyvault.click in Dutch and English: pages about services, guides, FAQ, contact and legal pages such as privacy policy and cookie policy.
Offline materials (invoices by email, session files) are outside this statement unless we deliberately publish them online.
3. Conformance status
We assess ourselves as partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Recent improvements include semantic headings, visible keyboard focus, sufficient colour contrast, text alternatives for studio photos, and a consent banner operable by keyboard and screen reader.
Known limitations: third-party embedded maps (OpenStreetMap) may not match our contrast; some decorative images have short alt text; client-supplied PDFs are not checked by us for accessibility.
4. Website measures
- A clear
mainlandmark and skip link to content; - Forms with labels tied to fields and text error messages;
- No full reliance on mouse or hover for essential functions;
- Language attributes per page (
lang="nl"orlang="en"); - Cookie banner with equally prominent accept, reject and customise actions, see cookie policy;
- Self-hosted fonts without Google Fonts to support privacy and load time.
We periodically test with keyboard, 200% zoom and a screen reader (VoiceOver). Findings go into our backlog.
5. Physical studio access
Our entrance at Elandsgracht 84 is at street level beside bicycle racks; Trams 3, 13 and 17 stop at Haarlemmerplein; from there it is about a 4-minute walk via Haarlemmerdijk and Elandsgracht. From Amsterdam Central Station it is roughly a 12-minute walk via Haarlemmerdijk. The studio entrance is at street level beside the bicycle racks.. There is no lift in the canal house; narrow corridors and steps may limit wheelchair access. Large gear (for example the drum kit in the live room) is fixed in place.
Tell us via contact or 020 623 8147 what support you need; we will plan a workable session or format (for example vocal booth only).
6. Feedback and contact
If you hit a barrier on the website, contact us at [email protected] or contact. Describe the page, your assistive technology and what went wrong. We acknowledge receipt and aim for a substantive reply within 2 business days.
Privacy aspects of accessibility requests are covered in our privacy policy.
7. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our handling, you may contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens when personal data is involved, or bring a civil case before the competent court in the Netherlands. We prefer to work with you first via [email protected].
8. Maintenance and date
We review this statement at least annually and after major site changes. Last updated: 14 October 2026; effective 14 October 2026. See also legal notice and terms and conditions for commercial terms.
